Gigwise faves Milly have just shared the next track from their upcoming debut album, Eternal Ring, which is set for release 30 September. ‘Marcy’ continues that grungy, alt-rock sound from their previous singles, taking ‘90s rock sounds and applying modern bedroom-pop tendencies.

Fuzzy shoegaze guitars are slowed down to an intoxicating pace in ‘Marcy’, showing a whole lot of promise for their upcoming debut. Milly’s ability to reinvent old influences with new energy is consistently addictive, and we can’t wait to hear what’s next.

 “We were intentional in keeping a lot of first takes and we’re heavily influenced by the sounds we were getting in that moment and running with it,” the band says. “Following our intuition was huge.”
