The internet erupted this week over a verse on ASAP's track 'Better Things' in which Rocky, seemingly unprovoked, spat the following lines: "I swear that bitch Rita Ora got a big mouth/ Next time I see her might curse the bitch out/ Kicked the bitch out once cause she bitched out/ Spit my kids out, jizzed up all in her mouth and made the bitch bounce." Accusations of misogyny followed.
Rocky has now addressed these concerns for the first time in an interview wth the BBC. Speaking to Annie Mac on Radio One Rocky explained that Rita's main crime appears to be telling someone she was being cheated on. "I just want to clarify, this isn't me saying, people don't go listen to Rita Ora, or she's an ugly person or nothing," he said. "I'm not saying she's a terrible person, I'm just saying that when I was in a relationship and I did things with her that I wasn't supposed to do, she had a big mouth."
The Harlem rapper released his latest album At. Long. Last. A$AP, the follow-up to 2013's Long. Live. A$AP earlier this week. The album features collaborations with Kanye West, Schoolboy Q, Miguel, M.I.A., Mos Def, Juicy J, Lil Wayne and Rod Stewart (courtesy of a sample by Mark Ronson).

Rocky has had a busy few weeks including telling the New York Post about how he “fucked nine chicks” after dropping acid with Makonnen and then lost 100,000 Instagram followers with an elaborate art project.
As the man behind one of the biggest fashion shout outs, of the past decade he also memorably attacked those who shout out brands. "Celebrities ruined fashion for me," A$AP Rocky said in an interview with Fast Company. "I used to put a lot of thought into what I was wearing and then all my favourite brands were being bought and worn by the biggest posers, and celebrities with terrible taste".
One of the best live acts in hip-hop A$AP Rocky's next UK date is on 3 July at Wireless festival alongside Drake, Major Lazer and Joey Bada$$. For tickets visit here.
