Muse's new album Drones is on course to be one of this year's fastest selling albums and shoot straight to No.1.
All the stats of this week's Official Charts Company midweek report point to the album outselling the rest of this week's top five - making it almost certain that Drones will become the band's fifth No.1 record.
And if their popularity continues, Drones might just smash into the charts as one of the fastest and top selling LP's of the year, to boot.
Other notable entries in the midweek charts are the collaborative album album between Franz Ferdinand and Sparks' FFS, new win at number 7, amongst Of Monsters and Men at No.4, and Young Gun's recent effort in at No.11. Even The Rolling Stones reissue of their 1971 album Sticky Fingers is in at No.6.
In the singles chart Jason Derulo is resolutely sticking around for his third week at number 1 with 'Want To Want Me', whilst Walk The Moon have the highest new entry with 'Shut Up And Dance' after its success across America and Australia.
