Daft Punk's Thomas Bangalter has made a rare unmasked appearance in public - in the form of a tiny cameo in a new French film.
The French electronic duo, who released their fourth album Random Access Memories in 2013, are very rarely seen in public without their trademark robotic metal helmets.

Thus, the eight second cameo (we told you it was tiny) Thomas Bangalter makes in the new Quentin Dupieux-directed film Reality, has been viewed on YouTube over 30,000 times in a week.
In the scene, Napoleon Dynamite's Jon Heder walks into a room in which Bangalter is sitting on a sofa reading a magazine. Heder snatches the magazine from Bangalter's hands silently, throws it on the floor and leaves the room.
