Metallica have released a comic book telling the story of their 34 year career, it's available for purchase now via Stormfront Media.
With no news of a new album following 2008's Death Magnetic, Metallica fans can indulge themselves in this 28 page chronology of the band's career.
The comic is available for purchase here with two different collectors covers, see a picture of cover A below via Billboard.
The title of the book is Orbit: Metallica. Written by Michael L. Frizell, author of the Ozzy Osbourne and Alice Cooper comics, and illustrated by David Frizell. The comic also features research by interior designer Jayfri Hashim, who said the following in a press release:
"Metallica’s formation marks the beginning of metal, breeding thrash metal which progresses to heavy metal during the glam rock era. Many people get it wrong when they say Metallica is a rock band. They’re not. They are the very definition of a metal band. They were daring, innovative, and the story of their beginning fascinates me."
