Following the announcement that Guy Garvey is opening a vinyl-only label, their first signee STEVE has released her latest single 'Two Point Nearly Zero' - and it's bonkers. Check out the video on Gigwise first below.

The Elbow frontman started his exclusively vinyl record label, Snug Platters, with Jim Chancellor earlier this year. We can now hear some material from the label's first signee, STEVE.

We know very little about the illusive STEVE apart from that her name is Jane Parker, she lives near a train track in Manchester, and her new EP Danger! High Failure Rate is out now on limited 10" vinyl from Fiction Records and digitally.

However, from listening to STEVE you can learn a lot about her. A frenzied mix of grime, dance and electro-pop amalgamates to create this duality between clarity and madness. The video features racing and incoherent clips symbolising some sort of physical or emotional meltdown.

Watch the insane video for STEVE's 'Two Point Nearly Zero' below

STEVE's press release reads: "Steve will only communicate via text." and continues, "I am the master and they are my slaves, sometimes they obey… but quite often they do not." Make of that what you will.
