Jack White has just released a self-directed video for a new Third Man Records t-shirt, charting the evolution of the perfect pocket t-shirt. Watch below.
The t-shirt has the label's logo on the front pocket and is available in white, gray, and black. Jack White’s ad claims The "David James Swanson Third Man Record Pocket T" was developed by Whirlwind Heat frontman David Swanson, even after his mother told him he was “a failure just like his father” in a heartbreaking flashback to 1966.
A limited edition version of the shirt has an image of a gold chain printed on the inside of the front collar (so that you can pretend that you’re flossing) and a flexi-disc featuring two "Hawaiian" covers of Whirlwind Heat songs.

Check out the bizarre announcement that complements Jack White’s ad.
"It’s a tale as old as time: a special child with a remarkable vision has his dream repeatedly squashed and stepped on only to become victorious in the end. David James Swanson (acclaimed photographer, director, singer of Whirlwind Heat, cheeseburger lover and clothing designer) was one such child and is now one such victor. His vision? Pocket T-Shirts. His detractors? His mother, his peers, his tour mates, his band, cheeseburger flippers, and a man named Jack White III."
The shirt will be on sale on Friday online and at the Third Man store in Nashville.
In May of this year, Jack White spoke out about the Tidal streaming backlash, asking, "What's elitist about it?"
