Busted have tracked down the original Miss McKenzie, from their 2002 'What I Go To School For' video. Watch the clip, which served as a promo for their forthcoming reunion tour, below.
Miss McKenzie is the central character in both the song and video for the band's 2002 debut single, 'What I Go To School For'. The narrative - a schoolboy is in lust with his 33-year-old schoolteacher, who eventually reciprocates (yes, really) and runs off with him - is hardly the most palettable of subject matters, but its irresistably catchy chorus ensured it became a hit.
Now, the newly-reformed trio have tracked down the actor who played Miss McKenzie in the original video, and re-stalked her in a short teaser video. "We were thinking of interesting things to film whilst we were recording at Abbey Road," said Matt Willis, "and came up with the idea of tracking down the original Miss McKenzie from the 'What I Got To School For' video.
"It was a really fun trip down memory lane and took us back to 13 years ago when we first filmed the video. And she still looks great."
