Chvrches have premiered a new track, 'Clearest Blue' and, suffice to say, it's their biggest, most dance-friendly track to date. Listen below.
The track follows 'Leave A Trace' and 'Never Ending Circles' and is the trio's most club appropriate tune to date. The song structure is tight, and builds to a huge pay-off when the synths kick in, sounding beefier than they ever have as Lauren Mayberry shouts cathartically: "Will you meet me more than halfway up?"
Speaking about the lyrical content of the track, Mayberry said she was aiming to "encapsulate the feeling of trying to be hopeful but conflicted at the same time - of wanting to let yourself go but being afraid of the drop".

As well as being a part of the most prolific and sought after UK synth-pop trio at the moment, Lauren Mayberry has been kicking misogynistic ass lately, taking a stand against online cretins and the trolls that cower under their Twitter bridges.
