The King of Compton was returning the favour after George Clinton appeared on his sophomore album To Pimp A Butterfly's rousing intro, 'Wesley's Theory'.
Gigwise caught up with Clinton in April and he spoke extensively about his career, as well as his expereince working in the studio with Kendrick. "On a day when hip-hop is soft sounding for most people he's still got the funk voice but he's talking some hardcore shit. His metaphors are so good you don't even have to know what he's talking about!"
Funkadelic has released a new EP today, called Ain’t That Funkin’ Kinda Hard on You? The project includes various Louie Vega remixes of their 2014 same-titled single.
