Great news, Lush fans. The band have announced their reformation since their split, and a London date in celebration.

The shoegaze band formed in 1988 in London and split in 1998 after the tragic death of their drummer Chris Acland. For this comeback show, Acland's friend and Elastica drummer, Justin Welch, will be filling in on percussive duties.

Catch Lush at the Roundhouse on Friday, 6 May 2016. Tickets go on sale tomorrow, Wednesday 30 September at 9am. For tickets and information, visit here

As well as a reformation announcement on Facebook, the band announced that 4AD are to reissue their 'best of' compilation Ciao! on vinyl complete with the band's entire discography and a "selection of rarities, sessions and demos".

More worldwide tour dates are to be announced soon.
