More about: Morrissey
Footage has emerged of Morrissey's alleged 'rear cleavage' sexual assault at an airport. Check out some GIFs of the incident below.
The Smiths icon turned solo icon earlier this year made headlines when he told the world that he was flying from California to London on 27 July when the incident allegedly occurred, just after he had walked through the security scanner - claims which the airport have since strongly denied.
"Before I could gather my belongings from the usual array of trays," he revealed, "I was approached by an 'airport security officer' who stopped me, crouched before me and groped my penis and testicles. He quickly moved away as an older 'airport security officer' approached."
He continued: "The officer who sexually assaulted me was identified as the General Manager On Duty. Luckily I was accompanied by two members of British Airways Special Services, who were horrified at the sexual attack and suggested that I lodge a complaint."
He later told Larry King: “I had been through the full scanner and I had been through the second bit, so everything was fine and clear, and then he went straight for my private bits and then he put his finger down my rear cleavage.”
Now, Gawker have posted footage of the incident, with Stereogum revealing this handy GIFs.
Since then, TSA spokesman Mike England has released a statement as obtained by the Guardian saying: "TSA takes all allegations of misconduct seriously and strives to treat every passenger with dignity and respect".
Further investigations were taken: "Upon review of closed circuit TV footage, TSA determined that the supervised officer followed standard operating procedures in the screening of this individual," England continues: "During the screening process, if an anomaly is detected, secondary screening is required to ensure the passenger does not have threat items, such as explosives, concealed under clothing."
The Transport Security Administration is an agency tied to the US Department of Homeland Security who have narrowly escaped the vices of the Pope of Mope.
