Rihanna has unveiled the title and artwork for her forthcoming album - the latter of which, apparently, "has changed the history of album art."
In Los Angeles' Mama Gallery last night, Israeli artist Roy Nachum invited a select group of people to preview the artwork he's designed for Rihanna's eighth album. Little did they know that Rihanna was planning on attending in person.
As Billboard reports, the singer was mobbed by press and fans upon arrival, before she announced that the album's title is Anti. She then oversaw the unveiling of its artwork - which features an image of her as a child holding a black balloon, with a Chloe Mitchell poem written in Braille over the top.
"In her collaboration with Roy Nachum," read the description mounted next to the artwork, "Rihanna has changed the history of album art." A little bit of hyperbole never hurt anybody.

And the Braille? "The whole idea behind the Braille," explained Rihanna, "is that people who have sight are sometimes the people who are blindest." #makesuthink.
