Muse's Matt Bellamy has invested a large amount of money (possibly millions) in a new drone racing league, according to the league's CEO.
First person drone racing sees racers fly remote controlled drones at 70 miles an hour, using video goggles. The first US national drone racing championship took place last year, and now a team of people are trying to get the Drone Racing League off the ground.
According to Nick Horbaczewski, the league's CEO, Matt Bellamy is among a handful of investors who've given a collective $8 million (£5.6 million) to get the league off the ground.
The band's latest album was, of course, called Drones - and their forthcoming world tour is set to play host to "a whole swarm of drones" - so Bellamy's interest hasn't come from nowhere.
