If you're already looking ahead to festival season 2016, then get ready - Mastodon have been announced as the headline act for Bloodstock 2016.
The Atlanta metallers will be headlining the bill on Saturday night at Catton Park, with Venom and Behemoth already confirmed to be playing sets as well.
Troy Sanders said: "Since day one, nobody has embraced Mastodon better than the UK has. Thank you for inviting us to our first festival headlining slot at Bloodstock 2016. We will not disappoint."
The second headliner is going to be announced this week, so keep your eyes and ears peeled. Bloodstock takes place between 11-14 August at Catton Park in Derbyshire.

In a pretty bizarre move, Bam Margera revealed at the beginning of the year that Mastodon's Brent Hinds has been cast as the late Ryan Dunn in a biopic about his life, titled I Need Time To Stay Useless. Don't get me wrong, we all loved Ryan Dunn and his death was a tragedy, but the Dunn we knew and loved is captured perfectly in the endless hours of footage from the prolific Jackass back catalogue.
Earlier this year, Mastodon featured on the second Game Of Thrones mixtape, along with Talib Kewli, Killswitch Engage, Snoop Dogg and a bunch of other big acts.
