More about: Coldplay
First, there came a mysterious poster on the London Underground. Now there's been an equally mysterious 30-second video on their Facebook with the same symbol. This surely can only mean one thing - Coldplay's new album is round the corner.
Last week, a poster was pinned up on the London underground showing a series of rainbow coloured spirals. Eagle-eyed Coldplay fans matched the pattern to a design on Chris Martin's t-shirt, and deduced that it was the artwork for the band's new album, A Head Full Of Dreams.
Now, the band have posted a silent 30-second video of the same pattern, confirming that the poster - which had the text "December 4" written on it - did belong to Coldplay.

This, of course, means that Coldplay's latest LP will be released next month - on 4 December.

Whilst this is exciting news for fans of the band, it's also tinged with potential sadness. When he announced the album nearly a year ago, Chris Martin described it as potentially their "final chapter."
