Prince fans all eagerly gathered around their computers this morning with the hope of buying tickets to his massive 2016 UK tour. For some reason however, sales have been postponed.
The 'Purple Rain' star announced a run of stripped back dates in London, Birmingham and Glasgow earlier this week - featuring just Prince performing with a piano and due to kick off later this month.
Now, however, it has been revealed that the on sale date for the 'Prince - Piano & A Microphone' tour have been posted to a later date:
On sale of Prince - Piano & A Microphone tour has been postponed & will not be going ahead at 10am this morning. More details to follow.

Gigwise have contacted a Prince spokesman who is yet to respond to the news.
Meanwhile, fans have taken online to voice their disappointment:

Prince will play:
Friday 27 November - Glasgow Royal Concert Hall - shows at 5pm + 9pm
Sunday 29 November - London Theatre Royal Drury Lane - shows at 3pm + 7pm
Tuesday 1 December - Birmingham Symphony Hall - shows at 5pm + 9pm
