According to Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue, Guns N' Roses are definitely getting back together for a tour. Answering the question from a fan on Twitter, Sixx wrote, "THEY ARE. EVERYBODY KNOWS.” An official announcement is expected to follow.

Sixx’s tweet comes after Dish Nation reported, from a source close to the band, that Slash and Axl have verbally agreed to get the original band back together.

"The live shows is where they can show the world what they had and also make the greatest earnings," says the report. "Promoters are quietly working away to land opportunities. Details of the reunion are expected to leak out in the next few days. Everyone is expecting huge demand for tickets, but the boys are very humble and are not sure what to expect."

Meanwhile Scott Weiland, who was in Velvet Revolver with Slash, claimed that the classic line up of Guns N' Roses will reunite in an interview with Alternative Nation.

Since Slash left Guns N'Roses in 1996, Guns N' Roses have failed to have an album that has reached the same level critical acclaim, and their tour hasn’t had quite the same amount of demand. The Spaghetti Incident? in 1993 was the last album Slash was on. Expect a frenzy for tickets.
