U2 and Deftones are among the bands to cancel gigs in Paris after ISIS' terrorist attacks at an Eagles Of Death Metal show last night (13 November).

Eagles Of Death Metal were to perform at the iconic Bataclan theatre, when terrorists struck the venue - killing 120 concert-goers before a hostage siege was broken by police, killing two of the attackers.

Killings also took place at a nearby restaurant and at the Stade De France football stadium where France were playing against Germany.

ISIS then claimed responsibility for the attack - referring to the victims as 'idolators together for a party of perversity'.

Deftones were due to play the very same venue on Monday, but have since cancelled their show. Meanwhile, U2 were set for two huge shows at the Paris Accorhotels Arena POPB tonight and Sunday - but have since pulled their gigs too.

"We are devastated at the loss of life at the Eagles of Death Metal concert and our thoughts and prayers are with the band and their fans,"  say U2 in a statement. "And we hope and pray that all of our fans in Paris are safe."

Other upcoming cancelled Paris shows include Lapsley, Electric Six, Bondax, The Dø, Braids and more.

Madonna, Muse, The Libertines and many more were among those from the world of music to pay tribute and show solidarity the people of Paris
