Mariah Carey once sang ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’, but for you to have her; it'll cost you $300,000 for a mere 45 minute appearence. That's what the 45-year-old singer was reportedly paid for an appearance at the Pier 1 Imports: Christmas Pop-Up Storybook store in New York City.
The ‘Fantasy’ singer spoke to the crowd and posed for photos. The singer-songwriter requested that event staff were to introduce her, as “the best-selling female artist” and that she’d be referred to as the “Queen of Christmas” throughout the event.
The pop queen is set to appear at the Prudential Center for the "Hot for the Holidays featuring Busta Rhymes & Friends" event in New Jersey on 5 December. Let’s hope her performance will be better than her infamously painful performance of her Xmas hit last year.
