Today saw Eagles Of Death Metal return to The Bataclan, just weeks after the band suffered a terrorist attack at the venue at the hands of ISIS - killing 89 of their fans.
After the band joined U2 on stage for a surprise performance in tribute to those who lost their lives, the band returned to the scene of the attacks today - tearfully paying their respects while looking at the floral tributes to those who died. See footage of their visit below.
On Friday 13 November 2015, terrorists carried out shootings at the iconic venue, murdering 89 people as part of a spate of attacks across the city. The band revealed to Vice, in their first interview since the horror, that they wanted to be the first band to play The Bataclan when it re-opens.
"I can not wait to get back to Paris, I can not wait to play," said frontman Jesse Hughes. "I want to come back. I want to be the first band to play the Bataclan when it re-opens. I was there when it went silent for a minute. Our friends went there to see rock n' roll and died. I want to go back there and live."
Revealing when they may play live in the city again, the band wrote on Facebook: "We look forward to fighting the good fight on many more fronts very soon, especially when we pick up our tour in 2016. See you again in February, Paris."
The Bataclan also vowed to re-open soon - saying 'we will never surrender'.
