Earlier this year, Kanye West was invited to address Oxford University’s Guild Society. Since then, we’ve been itching to get our mitts on the footage, but to no avail. Now it’s time to praise Yeezus, because a video of the entire lecture has been uploaded to YouTube and he talks about everything, from songs and albums, to his newfound career as a shoes and clothing designer.

During the speech, West invited questions from the 300 person audience, wanting to “vibe” off their ideas. He also implores the crowd to remain silent, in order to maintain his “stream of consciousness” and deliver the “illest quotes”.

Though only scheduled to last 20 minutes, the outlandish ‘All Day’ star went on for almost 40 – touching on art, family, philosophy and politics. The Grammy-winning rapper recently named his newborn son Saint.

 Check out the footage below:

Students present were treated to a notepad’s worth of incredible one-liners, which included: “One of my biggest problems has been my ego. And if I, Kanye West, can remove my ego, I think there's hope for everyone.”

Packed to the rafters with nuggets of wisdom, the video is a must watch for any Kanye West fan – or anybody who wants to witness the self-professed 'world’s greatest rockstar’ on his wackiest, funniest and most inspirational behaviour.
