Leonardo DiCaprio has offered a rather disappointing explanation for his strange reaction to Lady Gaga brushing past him at the Golden Globes on Sunday night (10 January).
Gaga starred in the fifth season of the horror anthology TV series American Horror Story - which usually sees the same group of actors play different roles each season, but which recruited the singer after mainstay Jessica Lange left the show.
Gaga played The Countess, a "bloodsucking fashonista", alongside the likes of Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Wes Bentley and Chloe Sevigny, and won the Golden Globe for Best Actress In A Limited Series Or TV Movie. But her moment in the limelight was somewhat overshadowed by Leonardo DiCaprio, whose reaction to her as she brushed past him went viral.
"Oh Lord, that's trending, huh?" said DiCaprio when Entertainment Tonight showed him the footage. "I just didn't know what was passing me, that's all!"
