It looks like that rumoured Spice Girls reunion might be happening. After Mel B hinted that the band are looking to celebrate the 20th anniversary of 'Wannabe', Victoria Beckham has reportedly confirmed that she's keen to join them.
The group were put together by Heart Management back in 1994 to compete with the boy bands - such as Take That and East 17 - who dominated the pop scene in the '90s. They released their first single, 'Wannabe', two years later, and it reached No.1 in 37 countries.
After years of success, they went on indefinite hiatus in 2000. They've had a couple of reunions since then; first in 2007, and then in 2012 for the London Olympics closing ceremony.
As the single that made them a household name heads towards its 20th birthday, Mel B told the Press Association, "We're going to be doing something at some point with, hopefully, all of us." It's a little vague, yes, but it's a promising start.
According to Closer Magazine, a source has said, "Victoria has said she’ll perform with the girls. However, she stressed she needed to focus on David and the kids this year after a stressful 2015."
This is quite a change from just over a year ago, when Beckham told Vanity Fair"I won't ever do it again,". Let's just wait and see.
