The Rolling Stones are said to be currently under armed guard 24 hours a day, after someone working at their gig was robbed and shot dead.
The rock legends are currently on tour in South America, however The Mirror reports that a contract worker was shot dead in a botch attempt to steal money from alcohol takings from a concert at La Plata stadium, while he was in transit.
Now, the band seemed to have stepped up security as a precaution.
“Of course these things are all considered well in advance of a tour, and massive bands like The Rolling Stones are well aware of the risks posed by these places - so they take no chances," a source told the paper. "Wealthy personalities are always potential targets, but the band are kept safe and secure at all times by the best security personnel on the planet."
