Jessie J has lamented the fact that she's never been asked to perform at the BRIT Awards, saying, "In America I'm celebrated as one of the greatest singers."
The British singer, who rose to fame with singles 'Do It Like A Dude' and 'Price Tag' back in 2011, has since found fame in the US - while her reputation in the UK has faltered somewhat.
Speaking to Women's Health, Jessie J was asked how she felt about the fact she's never performed on the BRITs. "It makes me sad, " she replied. "I've done the Grammys, the VMAs... my profile in America is that I'm kind of celebrated as one of the greatest singers and I love it."
It's easy - because of her slight tendency to oversing - to laugh off these comments, but she does have a damn impressive voice when she reins it in a little.
In the same interview, she added, "I wanna be up there with the Celine Dions, the Whitneys, the Beyoncés and Arethas. I go hard because I hope and pray that one day, people look back and go, 'She could really fucking sing, you know'. Which is why I keep going."
Jessie J's full interview with Women's Health will appear in their March 2016 issue on 9 February.
