Awesome news for fans of The Verve, as frontman Richard Ashcroft announces his return with new solo album, These People. Check out the Liam Gallagher-approved lead single 'This Is How It Feels' below.
Set for release on 20 May, the record was made with longtime collaborator Chris Potter and Wil Malone, who worked with Richard on the string arrangements for The Verve's A Northern Soul, Urban Hymns, and his acclaimed debut solo album, Alone with Everybody. As a result, lead single 'This Is How It Feels' flows with that inimitable Ashcroft soulful charm.
It's already got the seal of approval from Oasis icon Liam Gallagher:
