The Libertines' Pete Doherty has announce a UK tour for this May, and confirmed details of his new solo album.
Doherty, who's enjoyed a successful few years on the back of the Libertines' reunion, released his debut solo album, Grace/Wastelands, back in 2009.
Last year, he released a one-off solo single, 'Flags Of The Old Ragime', to raise money for the Amy Winehouse Foundation. Doherty, who's had his own struggles with substance abuse, was good friends with Winehouse - who died of alcohol poisoning back in 2011.
Now, he's revealed that he's "putting the finishing touches" on his second solo album, which is currently untitled, and revealed five UK tour dates.
Doherty will kick off the tour at Bristol Academy on 11 May, before heading up to Glasgow and Manchester. The tour will finish off with two shows at London's Hackney Empire on 19 and 20 May.
