Stevie Wonder has announced that he'll be performing his classic album, Songs In The Key Of Life, at London's Hyde Park as part of the British Summer Time festival. Full dates and ticket details are below.
The iconic 1976 Grammy-winning Motown record contained the likes of 'Sir Duke', 'Isn't She Lovely', and 'I Wish' - and went on the inspire generations of artists, from Prince and Elton John to Kanye West and countless more.
"Let me put it this way: wherever I go in the world, I always take a copy of Songs In The Key of Life," says Sir Elton John of the record. "For me, it's the best album ever made and I'm always left in awe after I listen to it. When people in decades and centuries to come talk about the history of music, they will talk about Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder."
Stevie Wonder will be performing Songs In The Key Of Life in full at Hyde Park, London as part of British Summer Time on Sunday 10 July. Tickets are on sale from 9am on Friday 18 March and are available here.
Meanwhile, Mumford & Sons will be headlining British Summer Time too with Wolf Alice, Alabama Shakes, Mystery Jets, Nick Mulvey, Baaba Maal, Borns, The Very Best, Beatenberg, and Baio on Friday 8 July.
Another show announced as part of this year's British Summer Time is Florence + The Machine with support from Kendrick Lamar, Jamie XX, Kamasi Washington, Cat Power, Todd Terje & the Olsens, and Blood Orange top the bill on Saturday 2 July.
Meanwhile, Take That will headline on Saturday 9 July with support from Olly Murs, Ella Eyre, Jamie Lawson, and Nathan Sykes.
Also, Massive Attack will be joined by the likes of Patti Smith, Warpaint and TV On The Radio on Friday 1 July, while Carole King will perform Tapestry on 3 July.
