Noel Gallagher has weighed in on this year’s Glastonbury Festival, and - you’ll be shocked to hear - he’s not a fan.
The festival is set to be headlined by Adele, Muse and Coldplay this year, with the likes of Grimes, The Last Shadow Puppets, Beck, Little Simz, Stormy and Years & Years also on the bill. Surely only the most miserable of people couldn’t find something to like there. Well…
Speaking to NME, (as he does, it seems, twice a week or so), the former Oasis frontman said, “The line-up isn’t exactly great though. Not talking about the headliners, but the entire thing… I think, ‘What am I going to see?’ ELO, they’re good.”
As for whether he was going to perform, he was fairly clear on the matter. “No. They’re yet to ask or make a serious offer. But I am going.”
Meanwhile, Michael Eavis recently hinted that Glastonbury Festival might move locations in 2018, instead of having its scheduled fallow year.
Glastonbury Festival 2016 takes place between 22 and 26 June. See the full line-up so far below. For more information on tickets and registration, visit the Glastonbury website.
