Chvrches’ Lauren Mayberry joined Death Cab For Cutie onstage last night - just before Ben Gibbard stormed off stage in anger.
The pair teamed up for a rendition of ‘Brothers On A Hotel Bed’, from Death Cab’s Plans album, with Mayberry taking the lead on vocals.
Later in the set though, things got a little weird. Appearing to become frustrated with his in-ear monitor, he pulled first them, then his guitar, then his microphone stand, to the ground before storming off the stage.
Thankfully, as Pitchfork reports, they came back later to finish their set.
