More about: Oasis
In news that will shock absolutely no-one, Oasis’ ‘Wonderwall’ has topped a poll of dads’ favourite karaoke songs.
To celebrate Father’s Day, Sunfly Karaoke asked 3,000 fathers across the UK what song they favour on karaoke night, and found the 1995 Oasis classic to be the most popular.
Another Oasis song, ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’, also made it into the top 20.
Meanwhile, Blur’s ‘Parklike’ - which require minimal singing - came in at No.2, while Queen’s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ and David Bowie’s ‘Heroes’ (actually surprisingly tricky) came in at No.2 and No.3 respectively.
Other preferred karaoke picks included songs by the likes of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Meatloaf, Robbie Williams, Spandau Ballet, Michael Buble and Bruce Springsteen.
