Harry Styles has signed a solo deal with Columbia Records, according to reports.
The One Direction singer is currently preparing to make his acting debut in forthcoming WWII drama Dunkirk, but it seems he’s got even bigger things in the pipeline.
Fuelling rumours that One Direction’s “hiatus” is actually a permanent split, Billboard reports that Styles has signed a solo recording contract with Columbia Records, the same label behind 1D.
News emerged of Styles’ possible solo career last year when he registered four songs with the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers. His former bandmate Zayn Malik, having left the band over a year ago, has already released his own solo album.
Meanwhile, Niall Horan spent this morning rightly lamenting Britain’s decision to leave the European Union.
