Calvin Harris seems to have spoken out in quite some detail about his recent split with Taylor Swift in a series of now-deleted Instagram comments, saying, “She controlled the media and this situation.”
The pop power couple announced that they had broken up after just over a year of dating earlier this month. At the time, Harris said on Twitter, “The only truth here is that a relationship came to an end & what remains is a huge amount of love and respect,” - but it seems things might have soured a little since then.
After Swift went public with her relationship with actor Tom Hiddleston, Harris last night began responding to commenters on his Instagram account. One comment read, “She controlled the media and this situation, I had no idea what was going on.’
In another, Harris wrote, “Bro I didn’t leave anyone and she’s def not sad.” When one Swift fan said that Taylor Swift has been a role model to people for a decade, he responded, “In a decade they really should have grown up by now."
When one fan defended him, saying, “For all we know Taylor broke up with him to be with another man,” Harris wrote, “You’re the only smart one at this point.

Entertainment Tonight has since reported that a “source close to Harris” denied that he wrote the comments.
