Britney Spears pranked Jimmy Kimmel by sneaking into his room and performing in the middle of the night. Watch it below.

After Kimmel’s wife, Moly McNearney, who was in on the joke, had left Kimmel alone in the bedroom, Britney and a team of semi-naked backing dancers snuck in and began dancing and gyrating on his bed.

The bleary-eyed Kimmel didn’t quite know what had hit him.

Spears' new album, Glory, which she describes as "the beginning of a new era", is out on 26 August.
