More about:

The Stone Roses are going to play three UK shows in June next year. They'll play in Belfast, Manchester, and London.

Tickets will go on sale on Friday 30 Septemeber at 9.30am. Be quick because if any band can sell out a stadium it's The Stone Roses who are simply mesmerising to see live.

Fortunately the band have kept up momentum announcing shows so soon after playing to over 240,000 people across four sold out nights at Manchester Etihad stadium, as well as a sold out show at New York’s Madison Square Garden.

This summer also saw them release new material, including the huge single 'Beautiful Thing', a sprawling seven-minute epic with a loose, easy and baggy flow - running very much an early 90s spirit. 'All For One' is more of a direct hit and gathered a mixed reaction line. These are tasters from their long-awaited third album.

Hopefully by the time June arrives the album will be out and tens of thousands of people will raise their glasses to a new set of classics from one of the greatest bands to have ever walked this earth. But the band have kept very quiet about their progress behind the scenes.

The 2017 dates are as follows:

Tuesday, June 13 BELFAST, SSE ARENA
Saturday, June 17 LONDON, WEMBLEY STADIUM connected by EE
Saturday, June 24 GLASGOW, HAMPDEN PARK
