Copenhagen trio Less Win have a bruised darkness to their post punk sound that recalls 70s Manchester and have released a video to new single 'A Thought To Be More' You can watch it first on Gigwise below.
The band first came into out radar with the thunderous lead single, 'Rituals', taken from their debut album. It showed them take the ferocity of post punk with the haunting cinematic addition of a string section.
This latest release showcases their ability to infuse classical instruments with rock yet again as saxophones swoop in on top of the angular vintage guitar sound, and visceral rhythm section.
Of the above video's directed Jasper J. Spanning said: "I wanted the video for ‘A Thought To Be More’ to revolve around the numbness and frustration you might feel when you are stuck in your life. The burden of failed dreams and missed opportunities will make you distant and bitter. Even if you do not realise you missed your chance.”
The distress of the above situation described by the director is conveyed in the impassioned croon of singer and guitarist Casper Morilla.
After receiving much praise for the LP in the press, and sparking more interest in Copenhagen's healthy underground independent music scene - where the likes of Marching Church, Smerz, Gooms, and Anden Enhed making waves - Less Win are back on the road for a bolstered return to stage.
