Kelly Osbourne has revealed her father Ozzy overdosed on pills after Sharon suffered a seizure when undergoing her colon cancer treatments in 2002.

This is according to Page six who shared the harrowing extract from Kelly's forthcoming book There Is No Fucking Secret: Letters From A Badass Bitch: “Dad was there in his boxers, and I watched him scoop his hands into a bowl of pills, swallow a handful of something, and then wash it down with vodka.”

Her troubled father was then rushed to hospital, “…he leaned over to put his hand out to see if mum was breathing. Then he passed out with his hand over her mouth. The EMTs (Emergency Medical Technicians) tried to pull him off, and dad, not knowing where he was or what he was doing, started to resist out of habit. They pulled over the ambulance and started to call the police.”

Dad could not handle the thought of losing mum,” she explains, adding that he had a doctor come to the house and “shoot him up with whatever he wanted while the [doctor’s] son sat in our dining room and played video games.”

Kelly’s book also thanks the late Robin Williams, who apparently visited Sharon and helped her when she was battling colon cancer. Kelly writes, “Shortly after he left, she told us that she’d decided to go back and finish chemo…Robin Williams helped save mum’s life.”

Written in the form of an open letter, Kelly Osbourne’s book reveals some dark corners of the Osbourne’s life that hasn’t been heard before, despite cameras following them throughout Sharon’s cancer treatment in their reality TV series ‘The Osbournes’.

It recently came to light that the Black Sabbath frontman may have cheated on Sharon, but they later put the scandal behind them to carry on with their marriage.

Kelly’s book ‘There Is No Fucking Secret: Letters From A Badass Bitch’ will also reveal her stories from dating, drugs and addiction. It’s due for release on 25 April.
