George Michael’s boyfriend Fadi Fawaz is reported to be planning an exhibition based around his late partner.

Fadi is a renowned fine art photographer and is said to be preparing a selection of pictures taken during his time with the singer. This will no doubt include many unseen and exclusive images.

Since George’s death on Christmas Day 2016 (aged 53) Fawaz has been understandably emotional about his shock passing. He has also been largely shunned by the popstars friends and family. The funeral was one that saw a number of fellow pop artists (including Wham partner Andrew Ridgley, Martin Kemp and others) alongside TV personalities and of course his family.

This exhibition is perhaps Fadi’s way of showing them all just how much his relationship with George had and will give him some closure on the hurt he is feeling since the tragedy occurred.

Michael was a huge art lover and supported and promoted artists through his Goss-Michael charity. He was also active in helping Fadi’s career and portfolio as well.

Alongside this proposed exhibition there are rumours that plans are in motion to put on a concert in honour of the singer’s life and contribution to music and the arts.

The concert if it goes ahead will be raising funds for charity. The estate of George have been approached with the idea and many celebrity friends of the vocalist have already jumped on board. The names mentioned include Sir Bob Geldof and X Factor boss Simon Cowell. The concert will more than likely feature a who’s who of the pop/rock and celebrity world.

Cowell said "I was on holiday when I heard the news (about George’s death) I was so upset. I met George a number of times and found him to be a really kind and genuine person."

The late singer was a man who wrote and performed many songs that are still iconic today. He fronted pop duo Wham in the 1980s and went on to have not only a huge solo career, but also collaborated with many artists including Elton John.
