Dive headfirst into summer with the classic sun-drenched sound of Time For T. The geographically scattered four-piece have unveiled 'Wax', and it's streaming exclusively right here at Gigwise. Tune in below.
The band formed in the creative hub of Brighton - yet their links to Portugal, Switzerland and each corner of England creates the sound of a band who are well travelled. The latest offering 'Wax' is in keeping with the band's multicultural mix of genres and influences.
While a straight-up indie reference can be picked out from the single, Time For T make use of a vintage organ, which swirls behind Tiago Saga's energetic vocals and guitar stabs - it's a great summer anthem.
Curiously, the music juxtaposes the lyrical theme as Saga tells us "the song is a sugar coated story about death and the passing of time."
Time For T are working towards a debut album - with the release of BBC Radio 1 supported single 'Tom Tom' already under their belt, and previous track 'Rescue Plane' reaching Number 1 in the Spotify UK Viral Charts. The debut full-length is due to drop in September.
In the meantime, you can catch the band live - with festival appearances including Secret Garden Party, Kendal Calling and Green Man.
