More about: Wolf Alice
Wolf Alice have debuted ‘Heavenwards’ – the fourth song from their second album, Visions Of A Life, which finally sees the light of day of September 29. The song follows hot on the heels of previous album tasters ‘Beautifully Unconventional’, ‘Don’t Delete The Kisses’ and ‘Yuk Foo’.

According to a press release from the band, the song was written about the death of a friend and it finds Wolf Alice making yet another stylistic diversion. Whereas ‘Yuk Foo’ found the band navigating the noisy waters of punk influenced rock, and ‘Beautifully Unconventional’ was grounded in indie and ‘Don’t Delete The Kisses’ was dreamy, ‘Heavenwards’ belies a shoegaze influence that suggests that a diet of My Bloody Valentine was adhered to.
