Maximo Park To Headline Evolution 07

Maximo Park have been confirmed as the headliners for the Evolution 07 in their native Newcastle.

The all-day music extravaganza takes place at the Quayside in the city on May 28. More acts will be announced very shortly.

Charismatic frontman Paul Smith said: “We’re very pleased to be headlining this year’s Evolution Festival, playing on our home turf to fans that have supported us from the offset which is always a pleasure.”

Last year’s Evolution festival boasted the likes of Graham Coxon, The Go! Team, Hard-Fi and Liam Frost on the bill.

Maximo Park release their new single ‘Our Velocity’ on March 19. The album ‘Our Earthly Pleasures’ follows two weeks later.
