Oxford rockers Foals have released a brand new track - and a video to go with it. The first taste of Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost - Part 2 is here in the form of 'Black Bull' and it's Foals' most aggressive - and perhaps festival-ready - work to date.
Frontman Yannis Philippakis described the track as "blotting paper for that more precarious and brutish side of being a man," and 'Black Bull' certainly succeeds in crystallising the ferocity of toxic masculinity. Through Philippakis’ screaming vocals and that amazing, gravelly guitar riff, the brutish side of man comes through loud and clear.
If you don’t remember just how good their previous album was, we reviewed Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost - Part 1 here - it has since been shortlisted for a Mercury Award.
