Did you work out the clues? TRNSMT festival has announced the three mega-headliners for its 2020 edition following an interactive digital and IRL treasure hunt this afternoon. And the bill-toppers are: Lewis Capaldi, Liam Gallagher and The Courteneers.

The three-day Scottish party will also host Ian Brown (who is headlining Warrington's Neighbourhood Weekender in May), Foals, Sam Fender, Twin Atlantic, Aitch and Little Simz.

On Glasgow Green next Friday 10 July, The Courteeners will kick off three nights of pop and rock madness, with confirmed support from a clutch of brilliant new names like perennial Gigwise fave Sam Fender. Saturday night will host gobby Manc sweetheart LG, while Scottish boy Lewis Capaldi will close off the festival with an enormous homecoming show - his UK festival headline debut.

"Things are about to get chubby and sexy, fast", Capaldi said of his headline debut, while Liam Gallagher went with the crowd-pleasing "I love Scotland". Courteeners frontman Liam Fray said that the country feels "like a 2nd home" to the band.

Snow Patrol, Blossoms, Rita Ora and Keane are all also confirmed for the festival.

TRNSMT will take place 10-13 July 2020 on Glasgow Green. Tickets go on sale Friday 29 November at 9am GMT here.
