More about:

Lazy Day are back and angstier than they've been before on new single 'All The Time'. Their first music of 2020, the quartet released the new tune this morning (13 April) as a means to remind us just how great they are.

Indie rock by way of softcore emo circa 2007, 'All The Time' is a frustrated indie anthem with the sharpest edges of its anger shaved off by fuzzed out guitar pedals and jangly chords.

There's still an unmistakable undercurrent of fury pouring from band songwriter Tilly Scantlebury though: enough for this new taste of music to feel cathartic and cleansing. Give it a listen:

Speaking on her new creation, Scantlebury said:"The lyrics flit between these feelings of resentment and defeat, but I wanted the song as a whole to sound really defiant. Writing and performing 'All the Time' allowed me to regain some sort of control over what was happening in my life, instead of freaking out about all the things I felt like I was losing.”

'All The Time' was recorded and produced by a women-led team including producer Steph Marziano (Hayley Williams) and engineer Isabel Gracefield (Adele).
