More about:

Hurts return today with their first new music since 2017's LP Desire. 'Voices' rejoins the duo at a dramatic intersection of their career: the new cut is a powerful electronic pop anthem with an arena-prepared call-back chorus - perfect for the massive shows they'll no doubt be doing when the world goes back to normal.

In a sound that combines the dark style of Depeche Mode with the addictiveness of chart-topping electronic pop, Hurts have landed back on earth with crater-making force. 'Voices' twitches with excess synth energy, the hysteria of Theo Hutchcraft's vocal delivery rising as the song progresses.

With 'Voices', Hurts have found a niche between synth-pop and chart-dance.

Saying more on the track, Hutchcraft notes: “Voices is a song about isolation, desperation and mania. It’s also about fortitude, resilience and the power of the mind. It was written during a personal crisis and is being released into the world during a very public one. Hopefully it can provide some hope and catharsis to anyone who is struggling with their own demons.”

Hurts also announce a new fan portal through Telegram: here, fans of the duo can stay close to their next moves. What they'll be what not too sure yet - but no doubt they'll be big.
