GENE, the new album named after a drum machine, arrives Friday

More about:

LA Priest has released the surreal (what else) video for his brand new single 'Rubber Sky'. It's the final taste of the new Sam Eastgate project - a sophomore album arriving five years after its debut.

Squelching electronics and balls-out guitar solos make 'Rubber Sky' LA Priest's most engaging GENE release to date. Released on Monday, the five-minute guitar piece has received its decadent new video today.

Eastgate plays the guitar in milky tub-water before panning out to reveal a TARDIS-like club environment in which he's bathing. That TARDIS? It's a replica of GENE, the drum machine that Eastgate built himself, and which features heavily in this track.
