Independent Catalan star Odina has shared another new single ahead of the release of her debut album What I Never Told You. 'Heartache' is a further bittersweet folk-adjacent pop song that rings with the confident notes of a readymade star.

Twanging guitars and dusty percussion combine with Odina's luscious vocals for a finishing product that's perfect for fans of Angus and Julia Stone. Despite the comparison, Odina's sound is all her own: a nightmare fairytale world gilded in gold and cobwebs.

'Heartache', Odina confirms, is a breakup song: "I wrote ‘Heartache’ after going through a breakup. At the time there was just a lot pouring out of me, I think it took 30 minutes to write - it was just one of those songs that felt like it wrote itself."
