Travis have shared a stylish new single from their forthcoming album 10 Songs. 'Valentine' is the second taste of October's ninth studio album. It arrives today with news that a limited-edition 10" vinyl of the single will be available to buy.

Loose, open strings introduce the three-minute cut, which soon falls into a soundscape of sexily lazy guitars and emphatic, vulnerable vocals. It's all very stylish.

Written and recorded at RAK Studios by frontman Fran Healy, this is going to be a popular song with fans...

On the new sounds, Healy said: “Valentine was recorded as a predominately live performance in December 2019 at Rak studios in London. It’s the closest Travis have gotten sonically to our
debut album, ‘Good Feeling’. Alex Harvey-esque.”

10 Songs was announced in June with the single 'A Ghost'. The album will also feature recent single 'Kissing In The Wind' and eight other original compositions. Grandaddy's Jason Lytle plays synth on the record, and there's also a star turn from The Bangles' Susanna Hoffs.
