More about:

Electronic enfant terrible Lynks has shared a brand new slice of his mad but brilliant brain with 'Brand New Face'. Body horror and tongue-in-cheek in equal parts, it's a commentary on body dysmorphia in the age of social media.

Swift, sardonic work with synthesiser make this a slow-burning, chic and compelling soundtrack for Lynks' social commentary to lay down on. Then there are the funky choruses and the call-and-response potential of the hook "I've got a brand new face". Excellent work.

Give it a listen:

'Brand New Face' is taken from the forthcoming EP Smash Hits Vol.2. It follows the recent cover of Courtney Barnett's 'Pedestrian At Best', which will also appear on the EP.

Smash Hits Vol.2 arrives 27 January.
